Brazilian Stages

The igus:bike worldtour arrives in Brazil — its final chapter. Covering vast distances, diverse landscapes, and one of the world’s largest industrial markets, the Brazilian stage represents the grand finale of this global journey.

Our adventure begins in São Paulo, the economic heart of the country, with a special introduction in Jundiaí — home of igus Brazil. Surrounded by green hills and mountain ranges, this region symbolizes the strong connection between industry, innovation, and nature that defines our journey.

From there, we head south to Paraná, visiting key cities such as Curitiba, known for its urban planning, sustainability initiatives, and strong industrial base. The route continues to Santa Catarina state, where igus Brazil operates another important unit and its Low Cost Automation Technology Center (our testing and learning center). This region stands out as a major hub for automation, engineering, and advanced manufacturing.

Next, the tour reaches Rio Grande do Sul, a state rich in tradition and strongly influenced by German heritage — a meaningful reminder of the igus origins. Here, the bike will travel through iconic destinations such as Gramado and Canela, combining industrial visits with breathtaking landscapes and cultural experiences.

After completing the southern route, the igus:bike returns to São Paulo to visit customers across this vast metropolitan area and dive deeper into Brazilian culture — celebrating innovation, creativity, and hospitality, accompanied by samba rhythms and the traditional feijoada.

Brazil is the final destination of the igus:bike worldtour. After approximately 45 days on Brazilian roads — reflecting the country’s continental size and long distances — the bike will return to Germany for the official closing of this global journey.

More than a tour, this Brazilian stage is a celebration of sustainability, partnership, and movement. It connects people, industries, and cultures, showing that the future of manufacturing can be efficient, responsible, and full of energy — just like Brazil.
