Italian Stages

The igus:bike world tour has arrived in Italy. For two weeks, we’ll cross some of the most iconic regions of the country — from the bustling streets of Milan to the rolling hills of Tuscany — to explore the culture, flavors, and industrial excellence that make Italy unique. Riding our innovative igus:bike, made from recycled plastic and lubrication-free, we’ll visit clients who are shaping the future of Italian manufacturing with igus components.

Our journey begins in Milan, Italy’s capital of fashion and business, where technology and design come together in perfect harmony. From there, we’ll ride towards the peaceful shores of Lake Como, surrounded by alpine views and timeless villas.

We continue east to the cities of Bergamo and Brescia, rich in industrial heritage and nestled among historic walls and cobblestone streets. Then comes Verona, the romantic city of Romeo and Juliet, where tradition meets innovation in surprising ways.

Next, we head south to Bologna — a city known for its culinary traditions, medieval architecture, and strong engineering sector — before reaching the heart of Tuscany. Between the vineyards and Renaissance beauty of Siena, we’ll discover how even the most historic landscapes are home to modern applications powered by igus solutions.

Along the way, we’ll meet Italian companies who trust igus to keep their machines running smoothly, while tasting local specialties and exploring locations that reflect the true soul of Italy. And that’s not all — more stops are ahead, with new stories to tell, new people to meet, and new roads to ride.
