How can you replace the cables in the e-loop?

Tim Schneebeck | 5. July 2019

You are here:

The e-loop combines the advantages of a plastic e-chain with those of a high-tensile Dyneema rope. Ideal for three-dimensional movements. The tensile forces are absorbed by the rope and passed through the mounting brackets into the support structure. As a result, the cables are completely free of strain.

The cable replacement is very simple:

Unhook, put down, unscrew, replace cable/s, screw in, suspend, and the maintenance is done. For the rarest of cases, a replacement chain should always be kept to avoid downtime.

Typical application areas: Top drive energy supply, FSU shore power supply, drill rig service loops, wind turbine cable loops, energy supply system for civil engineering machinery, shipyard energy supply systems
