Utah Visits & An Impromptu Pit Stop at Red Bull Rampage!
Jared Worth | 17. November 2025
Before diving headfirst into their fun weekend adventures, our riders tackled two final customer visits in Utah: bike component manufacturer Fasst Company and bike rack maker RadGnaRack. While these trips were brief, we still squeezed in some power-packed, valuable conversations about the igus:bike and, of course, our ongoing collaborative projects.
With the last of the customer visits squared away and a long weekend of driving ahead, our riders started making tracks toward Las Vegas, taking in the gorgeous scenery along the way. But fate — or rather, a massive mountain biking event — intervened!
They discovered that Red Bull was hosting their annual Red Bull Rampage competition right there in St. George, Utah. This electrifying event felt like the absolute perfect pit stop for the tour, so naturally, the impromptu addition was made. Talk about being in the right place at the right time!
While taking in the truly incredible displays of skill and daring at the event, there were two other unexpected stars drawing a crowd in the venue’s parking lot: the igus:bike and the QuikrStuff bike rack.
The duo became an instant magnet for attendees, giving Chris and Philip the perfect chance to chat. They showcased not only what makes the igus:bike a revolutionary product, but also highlighted our customer’s fantastic application and the crucial igus bearings tucked inside. It was a wonderful, organic way to celebrate our partnerships!
As much fun as witnessing gravity-defying mountain bike stunts was, it was soon back to business (and the road). Our riders quickly resumed their journey south to Las Vegas, Nevada, where they could finally rest and recharge for the night before heading into California to begin the final stretch of their portion of the epic U.S. tour!

Chris Sandven has been with igus® nearly nine years as a Territory Sales Manager for Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming. He started as the Bike Industry Specialist in 2024, and as an avid sports fan and outdoor enthusiast, the opportunity to join the igus:bike tour was too good for him to pass up.

Philip Pauli started with igus® in 2022 in International Sales for iglide® bearings, and by September of 2024 had become the bike industry manager at our headquarters in Germany. He loves the outdoors, whether it’s hiking, climbing, or mountain biking, and knew he couldn’t miss out on the igus:bike tour.
