Zig-Zag on the EOT crane – the somewhat different cable routing for lifting applications

Jens Göbel | 13. August 2020

For many lifting applications, a compact and space-saving solution is extremely important. However, the more cables have to be routed together in a system and the longer the lifting height, the less the choice of possible solutions. When the already presented liftband or e-spool reach their technical limits, the only thing left is the so-called zig-zag installation method.

e-spool – the alternative to a cable drum on EOT cranes

Jens Göbel | 15. July 2020

The e-spool is a chain-based drum application without a slip ring. Ideal for applications and lifting devices that have no space for a collection basket (lift band). The cables routed in the chain are not exposed to tensile stress, which has a positive effect on the service life of the cables.

Cable routing for lifting devices on indoor / EOT cranes

Jens Göbel | 26. June 2020

The lift band was specially developed for vertical applications on indoor / EOT cranes. A spiral energy chain that can be stored in a collecting basket. The cables are routed through the spiral energy chain without being exposed to any tensile stress. The retainer belts attached to the system ensure that the energy chain is safely stored in the special basket. The system is light, requires very little space on the lifting device and it is almost maintenance-free.
