What should be considered in energy supply for use outdoors?

You are here:

Outdoor use is generally uncritical for energy supply systems. Energy chains are very tough and withstand extreme temperatures below freezing. Each energy chain is tested in the igus in-house test laboratory in a refrigerated container at -40 degrees Celsius and on an outdoor test track under real conditions. For special requirements, energy chains are also available in closed systems with a canopy or enclosure. For example, the use of the igus basic flizz system makes sense in sluice gates or sewage treatment plants.
