What is a measuring system cable?
On servo drives, an encoder (encoder or resolver) is fitted for the precise determination of position. This electronic control signal must be taken to the drive control system in order to be evaluated there. So-called measuring system cables are used for this. These cables are to be made in accordance with the electrical stipulations of the measuring system’s manufacturer.
