What are the disadvantages of service loops?
The cables in the service loops have no guidance and do not have a defined bend radius, so they can move and twist inside the hose, resulting in a broken cable in the worst case scenario.
In extremely windy conditions, the freely hanging service loop can get caught in the mast, for example, in the lighting system and be torn off.
In addition, condensation inside the hose plays a major role, since it can lead to damage of the cables or the hose at freezing temperatures.
If any one of these situations occurs and a cable becomes defective, another problem arises: you have to replace the complete dress pack, because the cables are cast together within the hose.
