My iglidur plain bearing breaks when it is being installed.
For uncomplicated and easy installation of our plain bearings, we recommend
– a burr-free clean housing hole, ideally with slight chamfering
– the hole tolerance H7
– ensuring that the plain bearing is not more than 2 % larger than the hole before it is press-fitted
– installation by means of a flat press without a centring or calibrating pin
