A Meeting of Minds: igus & Fractal Works
The journey got even more exciting when we met Ganesh, the Assistant manager-lead of Fractal Works, a leading 3D printing company specializing in part design, manufacturing, and research. Ganesh has been following the igus:bike for over a year. Seeing it in action was a thrilling moment for him, and he is eager to own one himself soon. As he peddled around the campus, he experienced first-hand what makes this bike so unique—smooth, effortless, and just hassle-free riding.

Soft launch of the bike to the industry leaders
This year marks a double milestone—60 years of igus Germany and 25 years of igus India.
In the evening, we took the bike through a soft launch and preview event attended by big names from the industry. This event wasn’t just about showcasing a bike—it was about promoting green initiatives, blue and circler economy for a better tomorrow.
When the industrial leaders took the stage and spoke about the bike- we were elated. They loved the idea, admired the design, and appreciated how it aligned with global sustainability efforts. The air was buzzing with excitement as we showcased the bike—a game-changer in eco-friendly mobility.

Dr. Thilo Schultes studied mechanical engineering and business administration at RWTH Aachen University and Beijing Institute of Technology.
