We’re excited to announce a thrilling journey that takes the igus:bike through Vietnam’s southern, central, and northern regions. From the urban energy of Ho Chi Minh City to the serene beauty of its countryside, highlighting the innovative use of recycled plastics in urban mobility.
Along the way, we’ll meet our valued customers, share the vision behind the igus:bike, and demonstrate igus® solutions that empower industries to embrace efficiency and environmental responsibility.
A Green Journey District 7, Ho Chi Minh City
Our Vietnam journey began with an inspiring bike ride from Vietnamese office – Factory B building to Crescent Lake in District 7. We chose tree-lined streets and routes passing industrial zone. Uncovering the innovative use of recycled plastics in urban mobility.
One highlight of the ride was Crescent Lake (Hồ Bán Nguyệt) – a modern yet eco-conscious destination surrounded by lush green parks and serene lakes. This iconic spot is a must-visit, perfectly embodying the spirit of the igus:bike by fostering a sense of connection with nature and the community.
As we pedaled through the streets, the igus:bike captured attention everywhere. Curious onlookers were amazed to learn that this bike is made of 90% plastic, with 50% coming from recycled materials. Many joined our journey, eager to experience the bike for themselves, creating an electric atmosphere of excitement and connection.
