Day 7 Cycling paradise – Taiwan! Feat. Museum of Pacific Cycles

Evangeline Lin | 21. January 2025

Film shooting date: Jan 15, 2025

igus cycling team from #igusbikeworldtour continues the ride to visit Museum of Pacific Cycles to explore the diverse cycling chronicles and bicycle evolution, strengthen our business relationship with discovery, learning, and much more.

Test rides with our valued client on a windy day certainly presented some challenges, but it was an incredibly enjoyable experience. We had the opportunity to exchange stories about the rich history of bicycles, explore the evolution of different bike models across generations, and gain deeper insights into their company culture and commitment to CSR. It was a rewarding experience where both parties shared knowledge and learned from one another—truly a win-win!

Test rides are a highlight for our clients, as they immerse themselves in the pure joy of riding a bike that promises both sustainability and adventure. We truly appreciate their time and thoughtfulness, and we’re committed to implementing their recommendations to enhance the overall experience.

As we rode along Yong’an Fishing Port, the cold wind whipped against our faces, carrying the salty scent of the sea. We navigated through the winding streets and alleys, eventually arriving at the Yongan Conch Cultural Park.

Yongan Conch Cultural Park was completed in 2021. The white building is meant to resemble a “conch curved shell” and symbolizes the Hakka people’s spirit to take on the ocean (Yongan Harbor is the only fishing port in Taiwan mainly dominated by Hakka ethnic group). It is also a green, energy saving building that won the 21st Public Construction Quality Award.
