Day 5 Harbor city – Kaohsiung. From ocean plastics to motion plastics.

The first week has passed, let’s hop on a bike and pedal about on perambulations through this harbor city – Kaohsiung!
Kaohsiung, in southern Taiwan is full of surprises with its city charm and ecological culture. While getting to know this city riding a bicycle, you will discover its ultra-modern side as well as its charming old neighborhoods.
Brogent Technologies is a diverse technology company and flying theater manufacturer, with rich experience in digital content creation. Every corner is full of fun, and every scene is impressive.
Relaxing by the sea…The air is filled with excitement and novelty, and the promise of delicious food. YUM!
The Kaohsiung Music Center is an important landmark signifying the harmony between the port and city, it has some cool statues in front to take pictures. The Pier-2 Art Centre is also a ’’must visit place’’ to go in Kaohsiung if you wanna see a unique open art space. Pier-2 Art Center has since then rebuilt the cultural charm and lifestyle aesthetics of Kaohsiung as a port city. People keep gathering up in this place, bringing in much creativity. Performances and events which manifest Kaohsiung’s characteristics are held, and they also show new ideas and faces. These are the foundations of Kaohsiung’s cultural and creative industries.
Finally, we reached the southern tip of the Kaohsiung Lighthouse and navigate the experience the joy of landscapes, culture, exercise and industry in one unforgettable journey!
We bravely conquered the stairs with our bicycles, lifting them like we were training for the world’s toughest relay race. After what felt like a mini-marathon, we finally made it to the top. And wow, the view was so amazing it instantly erased every ounce of exhaustion. We stood there, mesmerized by the 360 degrees fantastic view, Meanwhile, container ships drifted by in the port, looking like giant floating on a mission.
