What does predictive maintenance mean for plain bearings?

Lars Butenschön | 15. April 2020

I associate the topic of predictive maintenance with a reminder: just under two years ago, my wife gave me a great birthday present. A ride on a maize chopper. She had watched me playing the latest “agriculture simulator” weeks before and wanted to make me happy. (Did you know that the agriculture simulator is one […]

Short or long strain relief teeth for triflex R?

Marius Glaue | 14. April 2020

The use of strain relief components for energy supply systems is very often forgotten or simply underestimated and, when they are considered at all, they are often the wrong ones for the task at hand. This is extremely annoying and costs an unnecessary amount of time. But doing without strain relief is no solution either […]

How do the balls get into the ball bearing?

Patrick Czaja | 14. April 2020

Ball bearings consist of an inner and outer ring, a cage and rolling elements. The cage is used to separate the rolling elements from each other in the form of balls. Safe control device guide on indoor crane

Jens Göbel | 14. April 2020

In order to control the hoist on the indoor crane, a manual control unit, also known as a control device, is required. It can be moved along the crane girder independently of the hoist. This is to prevent people from standing below or in direct proximity to the lifted load when operating the indoor crane. With the guidefast control system there is also a suitable energy chain solution for such applications. The guidefast control system is installed directly on the crane girder and ensures a safe guidance of the control cable.

Plastic energy chains ward off 850°C hot swarf in machine tools

Lukas Czaja | 14. April 2020

Machine tools have become an integral part of the industry. Thanks to them, metallic workpieces are produced with the highest precision, which are used, for example, in the automotive industry or in the aerospace industry. In all machine tools the desired contour is achieved by the interaction of tool and workpiece. Depending on the technology, […]
