Happy Birthday to us! The igus:bike worldtour turns one, and igus itself is celebrating 61 years!

To mark the double occasion, we’ve got a little birthday surprise for you: Europe’s best highlights in one awesome video 🚲🎉🪩

Exactly one year ago, the igus:bike worldtour kicked off on igus’ 60th anniversary, and what a journey it’s been! It all started in Cologne, in the newest production hall of igus. The tour then made its way across Germany for several weeks. When winter rolled in, the igus:bike headed for warmer destinations with our colleagues in Asia taking over.

From Singapore to Vietnam, Taiwan, India, South Korea, Japan, and China—it was a whirlwind adventure! But come spring, the bike made its way back to Europe. In May, the European leg picked up pace, starting in sunny Spain and covering France, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, and finally rolling into the United Kingdom.
