Quick breather – now the tour adventure picks up again!

Our tour bike got a brief breather, and the blog has been a bit quieter than usual these past few days. Why? If you’ve been keeping a close eye on the igus:bike worldtour, you’ll know that we successfully wrapped up all our exciting stations across Asia.

The bike landed right on time in Frankfurt, Germany, where preparations for the European stages at igus headquarter in Cologne were in full swing. Over the next few months, Levi will be accompanying the tour with the official worldtour transporter. Along for the ride: the worldtour igus:bike, a companion e-bike with a camera, and even a backup bike – ideal for moments when two riders tackle a route together (this happened quite a bit during the stages in Germany).

Levi’s role goes beyond transportation logistics. He’ll also be popping up in front of and behind the camera, capturing incredible moments and creating content for the tour’s followers. And speaking of preparation, the hustle wasn’t limited to Germany. In the Spanish igus headquarters near Barcelona, things have been kicking into high gear these past weeks. Why? Because today marks the official kickoff of the European tour!

Joining the adventure is Genoveva from the Spanish igus team – an excellent marketing colleague who’s set to shine a spotlight on Spain during the tour. Yesterday, Levi arrived safely in Barcelona and is already starting to collaborate with our Spanish colleagues.
