What class of conductor is the most durable for energy chain applications?
A general answer cannot be given to this question. Experience shows that, for durable, highly flexible cables, general information on the class of conductor cannot be provided. In principle, higher conductor classes are appropriate for dynamic cables (Class 5, Class 6). However, thin wires tend to lead to worse results as very fine wires become longer. On the basis of our technical experience, we advise the use wires that are optimised for the respective conductor cross section.
