Can I ream an iglidur plain bearing at some later date in order to increase or calibrate the diameter?

Reaming or increasing the hole size of iglidur plain bearings is possible without further ado, and can even have a positive effect on the running-in phase – the frictional properties when the component is in a new condition. Materials with a high fibre content, however, can become rougher or frayed during machining.
