How much force must I apply to open an energy chain?

The requirements of industrial applications are constantly increasing, and therefore the requirements for energy chain filling are too. The E4.80 series e-chains are usually used as soon as a substantial fill weight requirement arises.

This is important in milling linear robots in gantries, for instance. In the application examples listed below, three energy chain axes are installed. The X-axis is 10 metres long with a fill weight of 24kg/m. Among the elements it guides are hydraulic hoses with strong pulsation, which requires a great deal of energy chain holding force. The energy chain also travels with high acceleration (5m/s²).
