autoglide 5, the energy chain for long distances that does not require a guide trough.

I introduced this special energy chain about 18 months ago. Lots has happened since then. We have refined the chain:

1. New sizes have been added. In addition to the series 2400.07 with the relevant radius, this type was completed with the “05” width (inner width of 50). Then Type 2600, with the “07” and “10” widths, was added for even longer travels and space for more cables. Tests are currently under way for even larger autoglide 5 chains for the “heavy duty” range for travel lengths of over 150 metres. Everything is still in the test phase but next year it should be available from stock.

2. More features: with the so-called “bridge”, two autoglides can operate simultaneously on one track (two chains running in opposite directions). The customer also has the option of feeding the cables to be guided in the chain halfway, which greatly reduces costs.

3. Transport and assembly: for travels of more than about 45 metres, we will deliver the energy chain not on pallets, but on special drums that are not only conducive to transport but also make on-site installation much easier. Just unroll it, connect it and you’re done.
