What does “lubrication-free” mean?
iglidur materials do not need any additional lubrication – unlike many other plain bearings. The friction between plain bearing and shaft is reduced due to extremely fine particles of solid lubricant that are directly embedded in the material and thus are insensitive to outside influences.
