drylin® exchange bearings are the tool for designers and engineers to achieve exactly that.

What are exchange bearings?

drylin® exchange bearings are linear housings with exchangeable linear plain bearings. The components we produce are made of high-performance polymers and have been tried and tested in the industry for over 50 years and are therefore completely lubrication-free. This means a reduction in maintenance and no costs for lubricants.

Corrosion-resistant and hygienic

To prevent corrosion in recirculating ball bearing systems made of metal,
lubricants are used. Dust and
dirt particles stick together with the deposits of the
lubricant. Cleaning the system is often
very time-consuming and causes high costs due to
longer downtime and expensive cleaning agents.
The plain bearing system, on the other hand, operates completely lubrication-free.
The result: no sticking of dirt or dust,
no time-consuming cleaning and no possible contamination
by lubricants such as oils and greases. The
polymers used are corrosion-free and resistant
to dirt, moisture and corrosion.

Bearing change

The liner can be replaced with a standard screwdriver and the supplied tool. In under 30 seconds. Open housing at the side, change bearing, close and you are finished. The system is “new” and ready to use again in a very short time. Whether requirements in chemistry, temperature or food – linear liners appropriate for every environment are available. The pillow block is therefore used more and more. This saves costs and time.

The pillow blocks with matching rail can be easily ordered from our igus.de online shop. No minimum order quantity, in various installation sizes and ready for shipping within 24 hours. Furthermore, igus produces these exclusively in Germany, Cologne.

igus® also manufactures individual installation sizes and special sizes cost-effectively. We will be happy to help and advise you. Free of charge, of course. Even if you are unsure whether it fits, we will be able to help you choose the suitable parts.
