iglidur polymer housing 2.0 – Off to the polymer revolution for shafts with RJUMP

Extremely lightweight, low price and no lubrication required? – These are just three of many advantages offered by the iglidur polymer housing from igus®. Because the new RJUMP – which is the name of our new all-rounder among the linear housings – can do even more. Here are the advantages at a glance:

• Super fast installation and maintenance due to separable and reusable housing halves
• Completely clean in operation

The drylin® DRJUMP will be available in 3 different sizes 12, 16 & 20. For lightweight constructions we also recommend the use of aluminium or carbon fibre shafts.

Sustainability is becoming increasingly important to our planet. In this context, igus® also wants to contribute towards leaving a healthy planet for future generations to live on. Therefore, it was important for us to use RJUMP again and again, as much as possible. During maintenance, only the liner must be replaced. The housing itself remains and can be reused.

Also in the future, igus® will pay attention to sustainability aspects when developing new products. In this way, igus® also takes back old energy chains and returns them to the value-added chain.
